Invite-only · for buildings that share chargers
Your building.
Already wired.
2020EV puts scheduling, a fair Next Up queue, and prepaid per-kWh billing on the chargers your building already has. Residents get an app. The board gets clean books.
Already a building administrator? Log in to the portal.
A day at a 2020EV building, simulated. Select a stall to see charging details.
Four chargers.
Ninety drivers.
One group chat.
Shared chargers fail socially before they fail electrically. Somebody parks overnight on a full battery. Somebody circles the garage guessing when a plug frees up.
2020EV replaces the group chat, the guessing, and the spreadsheet with one system the whole building can see, and it runs on the hardware already bolted to your garage wall.
№ 1 · Residents
Residents plan. Nobody hovers.
Book a charging window
Pick a slot from the app the way you’d book the tennis court. Your neighbors see it; the charger expects you.
Watch it live from the couch
Every stall’s status in real time: charging, full, or free. Nobody rides the elevator down to check.
Take a number, keep your evening
Stalls full? Join the Next Up queue. When a plug frees, the next person gets a nudge on their phone. In order, no politics.
Top up once, forget about it
A prepaid wallet pays for every session automatically, itemized to the kilowatt-hour. No cash, no checks, no IOUs.
For residents
Already invited by your building?
Download the resident app, then use the invitation from your building administrator. Need access? Ask your building administrator to send an invite.
№ 2 · The Board
The board gets clean books.
Your building gets its own admin portal, scoped to your building and nobody else’s. Set your per-kWh rate, see every session, and let prepaid wallets do the collecting. Nobody chases a check again.
Every debit and credit lands in an auditable ledger you can hand to the association’s accountant as-is. When a resident asks “what did I pay for?”, the answer is one row, not one argument.
Exhibit A · one evening, unit 7C
Building-scoped, exportable, and boring, the way a ledger should be.
№ 3 · Your Chargers
Keep the chargers.
Lose the chaos.
If your garage already has networked chargers, you’re most of the way there. 2020EV works with the equipment you have: no new hardware, no electricians, no rip-and-replace. Sessions flow into the ledger automatically, matched to the resident who charged.
Not sure what you have? Email a photo of your setup and we’ll tell you straight whether 2020EV fits it yet.
Invite-only
Bring 2020EV to your building.
We’re onboarding a small set of South Florida buildings and doing it carefully. Tell us about yours: how many units, what chargers you have. We’ll show you the resident app and the board portal on a live building.
